DIGITAL COMMUNICATOR MONITORING
This is the most economical monitoring option. The Digital Communicator is a single path transmission device fitted integrally within the control panel to transmit pre-programmed signals, via the switched telephone network, to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Should the telephone line become inoperable or engaged for any reason, the signals would be unable to be received at the ARC.
Complies with EN50131 – Grade 2.
DUALCOM GPRS MONITORING.
The Dualcom GPRS is a dual path signaling device utilising both the Vodaphone mobile network and any switched telephone network, analogue or digital, to transmit pre-programmed signals to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The mobile network “scan polls” both signaling paths at regular intervals and will report any interruption in either signaling path to the ARC.
Incorporating a unique GradeShift ® technology, the Dualcom GPRS hardware platform is common throughout the grading categories whilst a change in grade category can be implemented without an engineers attendance.
Complies with EN50131 – Grades 2, 3 and 4.
REDCARE CLASSIC MONITORING.
RedCARE is a single path signaling device which operates on a BT analogue telephone line, to transmit pre-programmed signals, via the BT RedCARE Network, to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). It will be “scan polled” at regular intervals and will report any interruption to the ARC.
Complies with EN50131 – Grades 2 and 3.
REDCARE/GSM MONITORING.
The RedCARE/GSM is a dual path signaling device which operates on the BT RedCARE Network utilising both a mobile telephone network and a BT analogue telephone line to transmit pre-programmed signals to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The mobile network “scan polls” both signaling paths at regular intervals and will report any interruption in either signaling path to the ARC.
Complies with EN50131 – Grades 2, 3 and 4.
EMIZON I.P. MONITORING.
The Emizon IP is a dual path signaling device which operates on both the mobile telephone network and any broadband network to transmit pre-programmed signals to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The mobile network “scan polls” both signaling paths at regular intervals and will report any interruption in either signaling path to the ARC.
Complies with EN50131 – Grades 2,3 and 4.
As there are various types of system monitoring available, it is always advisable to check with your insurance company first to determine their signalling requirements, if any.
